What will our web site look like?
Obviously the look of your site is entirely up to you but its appearance should compliment all existing company literature and be easy to navigate.
What will our web site address be?
Your domain name should be related to your company name, business products or services. It should preferably be short (easy to type) and easy to remember. Domain names come in a variety of formats, although we generally advise our clients to obtain .co.uk, .com or .net domains, as these are the most accepted forms. Domain names are being bought all the time so certain names may not be available. Domain names are bought for a period of two years at a time, with the owner getting first refusal to renew at the end of the two year period. We handle all aspects of domain name registration and domain management for you, however, you retain ownership of the domain.
What information should we include on our web site?
You should include all the information you use in trade journals, telephone indexes and existing company literature. We can also integrate additional content, like photos and other media, to help get across your message.
How much text should I have on each page of my web site?
We would recommend that you have no more than approximately 200 words per page. Web site information should be concise and to the point. Please proof read all your supplied literature as many terms, expressions and spellings can be customer / trade specific.
Once we are online who will look after our web site?
We will monitor the web site and notify you of any maintenance required.
How will people know our web site exists?
Search engine registration is essential, please read 'Internet Marketing'. We also advise you to put your web sites address on all forms of company literature.
Can alterations be made to our web site once it is on the internet?
Yes, we can update, or change, your web sites content for an additional charge.
How will we know if people are visiting our web site?
We can supply you with access analysis reports which outline how many people have visited your site, when they visited, their country of origin etc.
Is there a minimum contract period?
Yes, the agreement will be on a minimum of a 12 month period.
